About Enginetics
Our History

Enginetics was founded in 1976 by Dale Pelfrey as a sole proprietorship specializing in the development and manufacture of go-kart brake systems, racing connecting rods, and special machine details. In the first year, Enginetics employed 5 full-time and 5 part-time workers. From the beginning, Enginetics made Mr. Pelfrey’s entrepreneurial spirit integral to the corporate culture that still thrives today.

By 1979, Enginetics Corporation had grown to approximately 90 employees and had expanded into the aerospace industry – winning contracts to manufacture engine components.

In 1985, Enginetics moved into its present facility where, today, we operate two primary divisions dedicated to the aerospace industry:

Enginetics Aerospace – design, manufacture, and project management of simple and complex engine parts and equipment. Specializations in “hot section” components (exotic alloys, etc.), welding, lean manufacturing processes, and NPI (New Product Introduction) development.

Enginetics Technologies, Inc. (ETI) – design, manufacture, and project management of electronic assemblies and components for the aerospace industry. Specialization in ITAs (Interface Test Adaptors). Recent growth of ETI has attributed to their relocation into a new facility planned in January 2005.

For almost thirty years, Enginetics Corporation has remained true to a few guiding principles which has allowed the company’s management and associates to deliver large company capabilities with personalized service. Integrity, quality, community, reliability, and innovation are more than words at Enginetics. They represent our core values and define for us how we approach and build our relationships, our work, and ultimately our value in the world.
